BCom  (Hon)

The B.Com with computer application course is a four-year undergraduate course that follows the choice based semester system. It aims to prepare the students for successfully operating in and contributing to the modern world of business as also for pursuing advanced research in the discipline. The course curriculum integrates theoretical and practical components of study covering a wide area of subjects like cost accounting, financial accounting, auditing, Business regulatory framework etc. 

The computer application option helps the students to gain practical knowledge in different computer languages and software which is an added advantage to their career opportunities.

Exit option as per Kannur University FYUGP 2024 in BCom  (Hon)

The new curriculum of BCom  has been designed based on New Education policy of Kannur university FYUGP. Thus, if a student exists BCom  program after 3 years he / she will be awarded BCom  degree, whereas if a student continues with 4 years degree program he / she will be awarded BCom  (Hon).

Eligibility

The students who aspire BCom course must fulfill the following eligibility criteria: 

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the state or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto provided that the candidates coming from Non-Commerce group should have at least 45% of the aggregate marks.
