The department started functioning from 2015 onwards offering Postgraduate course in MA English Language and Literature.

Our master’s degree in English imparts practices for reading and deciphering the nuances of English language and contribute to developing the students analytical and creative thinking skills.

The undergraduate program in BA English Language and Literature with Journalism started in 2020. We provide a conductive ambience for nurturing their literary creativity beyond the strict regime of the curriculum.

The Department also issues a Biweekly newspaper ‘ Campus Sign’, help to enhance journalistic skills of the students in several ways – Article Writing, Research and Interviewing Editing and Proofreading, Time Management and Organization Teamwork and Collaboration.
